(Source: Royal Thai Government) Deputy Prime Minister Kittirat Na-Ranong revealed that the meeting of National Rice Policy Committee (NRPC) agreed with the new adjustment of pledging price of rice of production year 2012/2013 at 15,000 baht per ton and the maximum pledging price of 500,000 baht per farming household. The price will be effective until the end of the scheme on July 15, 2013 and on November 30, 2013 for the southern region.
